THE Bernina Aurora 430

In April, for my 39th birthday, my wonderful husband bought me one of the best presents ever. The Bernina Aurora 430. Here's a picture of her.


I cannot tell you how much easier my sewing life is due to this fabulous machine. If you're a frustrated seamstress, crafter, home decorator - whatever you call yourself, and you currently have a crappy machine, you must get this machine. I've sewn more projects in the last 6 months than in the last 6 years. Here's the list:

Retro aprons for me and the girl
Apron for Brooke (he's always ruining his shirts when he cooks and cleans the kitchen)
Bean bag chairs for the kids
Bib for my father-in-law (he's always ruining his shirts when he eats)
Place mats for my mother-in-law to match her beautiful kitchen and decor
Play clothes for the kids
Blanket for Frost with fabric he picked out
Patchwork shower curtain (my design, pics soon)

I'll post the pictures of some of this stuff soon. No wonder I've had no time to knit.
